The Novi Varsity Soccer team has been busy trying to adjust to the loss of all the talented seniors they had last year. In attempts to get a good look at each player's abilities, all 24 individuals on the team were given then chance to prove themselves in last Wednesday's scrimmage against our cross-town rival, the Catholic Central Shamrocks. The scrimmage went well and the 'Cats ended with a "W" and a score of 1-0. The coaching staff was given a good opportunity to properly evaluate their players due to the respectable competition they were facing. A particularly impressive performance was displayed by senior, Chase Jabbori and junior Matt Wilson, who both played a role in the goal scored that night - Jabbori with the assist and Wilson with the goal. The other 22 players on the Varsity squad contributed as well by working together as a team and taking advantage of every opportunity to find success to the best of their ability. The 'Cats next scrimmage will be Monday the 18th at Ann Arbor Skyline. It is expected to begin at 7:00 p.m. (c) 2011 Novi
