Novi Soccer continues to be a force. After dispatched almost 10 young ladies into the world of College soccer in the last 3 seasons, and knowing that many starters return from last year’s District Championship team, it is even more impressive to know that in the younger ranks, there is still a plethora of talent.

Recently Kendall Kramer, Gabrielle Deleon and Megan Buckingham were all chosen to participate in the 1995 ODP Camp that will be held in DeKalb, Illinois next July. All are Novi residents and while Kramer and Deleon play for the Novi Jaguars, Buckingham plays for the Northville Rush.

This is no small feat. They were part of a pool that included 120 hopefuls from around the state, and these three young ladies prevailed.

Meanwhile, the Novi Jaguars 1996 Girls Green Team finished the season ranked #1 in the Country by nationalsoccerranking.com, and last April they finished with a #5 National Ranking for 2008.

While Kramer, Deleon, and Buckingham are actually ‘playing up’ a year as they were born in 1996, tow other Novi girls that are true 1995’s also made the ODP team. Jade Antolec and Natalie Krygier both play for the Jaguars as well.

Past, present and future, the world of Novi soccer continues to grow and get even better. Congratulations to these young ladies, their parents and families, and certainly their coaches for their efforts in helping to develop and produce truly elite athletes, destined for success in Novi and beyond.
