Remember
June 1, 2011
There is no way 13 years of school
are over already. I mean, it feels like just last week we were
freshman, begging for high school to be over.
Now that it's finally here, with
graduation right around the corner, I don't want it to be here.
I mean, yeah I want to move on from
high school, meet new people, but what about eating lunch with all
of my friends every day? That's probably what I'm going to miss the
most next year, the daily routine and seeing everyone every day.
Don't get me wrong, I am totally
ready to move out of my parents’ house for 10 month and go to
Central. I'm really excited about that, getting to take the classes
I want to take so I can further immerse myself into what I want to
learn about and not what the teachers are making us learn.
That’s another thing, the teachers at
Novi, have really prepared us for our futures. They have taught us
pretty much everything we know about how to make sure your writing
down the correct things during a lecture. They make sure we know how
to write a research paper properly. They have really impacted our
lives, whether we know it or not.
Parents have changed us too. They
have raised us since day one. Our parents are the ones who have
helped us become who we are today and whether you know it or not,
they care so much about us. Even if they don't want you to go to MSU
because they are UofM fans, they still care. Our parents would do
anything for us.
Someday, we are going to look back on
our lives. Look and see where we came from and how we got started
with our lives, and I know for a fact that we think of high school.
We will think of college, our families, and our friends.
I guess what I'm trying to say is
don't forget your past because it's where you came from, live in the
moment because its where you are now, and most importantly, keep the
future in mind because that's where your headed. |
