Congratulations

May 31, 2010

This year, like previous years, there are close to 500 students graduating from Novi High School. Each year is a different year, with different students and different goals.

This year there was Seniors’ Honors Night, and throughout all the students graduating and moving onto college, there were over 8 million dollars in scholarships awarded.

With some of these students moving on to pursue their dream of becoming a nurse or doctor, a journalist, a teacher, or even an actor, none of them would have been able to get where they are today with out their parents and teachers. And for those who are moving on to play sports in college along with pursuing their career dream, there is no way they could be able to get to the level of college sports without their coaches.

So, seniors in the Class of 2010, before you leave the classroom be you sure thank your teachers; before you leave practice make sure you thank your coaches and teammates; but most of all, don’t forget to thank your parents.

Graduating high school is a big step in life. You have survived at least 12 years of school, and many other obstacles in life that have helped make you who you are today. Just don’t forget all the good times that you have had in high school, and all the friends you have made, while at the same time make new friends and discoveries about who you want to be.

Also, when graduation comes around so do graduation parties, and while this is a cause for celebration, be smart! After-all, you have made it through high school, you know what is right and what is wrong; you know what you should and shouldn’t do.

Make sure you think about what you are doing because there is no going back if something goes wrong, unless you have a time machine, but those haven’t been invented yet.

Anyway, I would just like to say…

CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS 2010, MAKE NOVI PROUD!
